The project for the construction of control center of the traffic management and information system version 2 (VMIS2) comprises the region wide traffic control (about 800km) and the operation of all tunnel facilities for Austria's trunk roads in the total network of 2,183 km.

Within the framework of the E21X project, initiated by Hessen Mobil, the basis for the former Traffic Center Hessen (VZH) was created. When Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes took over the tasks of managing the highways, the VZH became the Traffic Center Germany (VZD).

In the KoMoDnext research project - Automated Driving in the Digital Test Field Düsseldorf - applications of connected and automated driving were developed and tested under real traffic conditions on public roads.

The project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, built on the developments and experiences of its predecessor project, KoMoD.

Heusch/Boesefeldt's main customers are public administrations as the largest investors in the transport sector: Cities and municipalities, federal and state ministries as well as state road administrations and their subordinate departments.
