On 26 October the kick-off event for Start.up! Germany Tour 2020 was held in Düsseldorf.
An initiative of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce of the Rhineland and the Ruhr area organised a digital event with live streams for 124 start-ups from 30 countries. The event offered founders and employees of the young companies the opportunity to get to know large companies, corporations and representatives of German medium-sized businesses from North Rhine-Westphalia and the Rhine-Ruhr region in NRW.
Next to information about NRW as an attractive location for businesses, the Rhineland corporate culture and innovative projects from here, the attendees were given practical tips on how founders can successfully enter the German market.
Torben Hilgers, project manager at Heusch/Boesefeldt and head of the KoMoDnext project office, gave a half-hour presentation on the research project KoMoDnext. The lecture was filmed and streamed in live mode.
