Every two years, manufacturers, vendors and importers of traffic and transport related products and services meet at the industry’s world leading exhibition.This year Heusch/Boesefeldt participated with their own stand to present their most recent achievements and products. As a side effect, the fair was used as a suitable platform to launch the company’s new corporate design. Visitors at the stand appreciated, which certainly pleased the two managing directors on the stand – Dr. Dirk Hübner und Berthold Jansen – as a reward for many weeks of extensive preparatory work. Custom-ers felt the new layout now better matches the quality of the company’s products and services.

Numerous promising discussions with customers and visitors regarding our integrated solutions and recent developments formed the focus of our presence at the exhibition. Beyond a platform for exchanging informa-tion, our guests also appreciated our live exhibits. Especially a prototype PDA of a location based application for on site VMS setting via a remote UMTS connection was very well received. Another recent development is a traffic information service via the Internet using a Google® Maps Mash-up that displays information on traffic, roadwork and VMS settings from Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands. Nevertheless, the definitive crowd puller proved to be the four screen display of ASFiNAG’s traffic manage-ment and information system’s operators interface. The extensive functionality of this system could be dem-onstrated online and in real-time.
