Every two years the Intelligent Transportation scene meets at the Intertraffic in Amsterdam. This year we will also participate with our own stand. Lots of interesting news gave us an incentive to be there for presenting our projects and products and answering your questions.
The following systems and solutions will be presented on our stand, some even "LIVE":
- Traffic Management and Information System of ASFINAG:
The system - which has passed acceptance tests mid of 2007 - is characterised by its rich set of traffic management centre functionality (all methods of traffic control, traffic information, roadwork management, road weather information, CCTV). - Presentation of traffic and weather information based on Google Maps:
The so called mashup happens to be our latest development for Rijkswaterstaat (VCNL - Traffic Centre Netherland).
Our "extra" for the Intertraffic: launch of a Google Maps-mashup offering up-to-date traffic information for the Amsterdam region during the fair (www.heuboe.de/Intertraffic). - Supervisory traffic system Thüringen:
The system coordinates traffic control measures for the complete highway section of the A71 "Kammquerung" including 6 tunnels with integrated disaster control. - Prototype application for PDA:
We demonstrate the mobile use of PDA in traffic management. As an example we showcase the activation of control measures e.g. by police or operational staff on site using "location based services".
Which influence will national and international standards take on these ITS implementations? Which impact does a well chosen ITS-architecture have on the realisation and particularly on the sustainable operation of your systems? How do open interfaces based on approved IT-standards simplify further developments and extensions for your system?

Heusch/Boesefeldt with new Outfit - Relaunch of our Website
In our own interest we would like to inform you, that Heusch/Boesefeldt will present itself at the Intertraffic in a new look. We used the opportunity, while updating our info material, to develop a new cooperate design.
